The strength of LinkedIn groups
The strength of referrals is an important argument for starting LinkedIn groups and activating ambassadors. Within these groups people can exchange knowledge and experiences on issues of mutual interest. Nyenrode can also emphasise its brand values by using LinkedIn groups and Q&A.

The role of KREM
On the instructions of Nyenrode Business University, KREM drew up an advisory report on the use of LinkedIn to market the NyVU Executive MBA. In response to this advice, a dedicated LinkedIn group was set up for the NyVU Executive MBA. This group is aimed at current and former participants, teachers, staff and other parties interested in the NyVU Executive MBA. The purpose of the group is to bring executives together to enable them to maintain contact with each other and exchange knowledge and experiences related to this MBA, their expertise and the challenges they face managing their companies. Members are invited to dedicated knowledge and networking events several times each year.

About the NyVu Executive MBA
The NyVU Modular Executive MBA is a modern course leading to a Master of Business Administration for people with experience as a director, entrepreneur or manager with particular attention to the financial sector as well as the food, agricultural and horticultural sectors.

The LinkedIn group was launched April 2009 and currently has over 300 members.
